On this new exciting two day needle felting workshop fibre artist Carla Taylor of The Mousehole Woolery will guide you step by step through the basic techniques of needle felting as well as sharing lots of tips and tricks that she has learnt along the way as well as sharing her love and passion for local Dorset and British wool.
Carla will share with you how to create and construct what has become one of her statement sculptures of her coastal collection as featured on Channel Four's Craft It Yourself and in magazines such as Felt Matters. You will also the learn how to produce a smooth felted surface using different wool fibres and felting needles and the addition of detail.
By the end of this two day workshop you will have created your own beautiful Jurassic coastal ammonite mounted on a beautiful piece of locally sourced Dorset wood, ready for you to take home or if you can part with them to give that special someone as a gift!

The price of the two day workshop includes all materials and a needle felting kit that you get to keep, take home and carry on creating with.
